Tinsukia, a major transport junction in the Northeast, is convenient for visiting the nearby Dibru-Saikhowa National Park and the small Borajan Reserve Forest. Borajan Reserve Forest, 5 km away, is a small (½ sq km) patch offorest which is home to five species ofprimate (Hoolock gibbon, capped langur, slow loris, stump tailed macaque and common macaque) but are not easy to spot. Best to visit by car (see Mr Eunush Au below).

Transport Train: The 2 stations are 3 km apart. Junction, being run down, has F Retiring Rooms and very basic vegetarian refreshments. New Tinsukia has most of the long distance trains. Buses ASIC stand on AT Rd; private busesfrom top end ofRangagora Rd. Toiorhat, Rs 75.
