Government Jobs in India in the Year 2012

There will be a real need for additional Government jobs in 2012 in certain sectors, and Governments worldwide are already preparing and restructuring. As per reports from Government Job Search, Governments are being forced to take action due to a massive increase in natural disasters internationally as well terrorist attacks and wars. Hospitals and Health departments are screaming for more personnel and are scrambling to train as many nurses, paramedics and doctors as possible to cope with emergencies caused by the above factors. It is most unfortunate that in the health sector, most qualified and experienced personnel prefer to move to the private sector where they have a far higher remuneration. The fire departments are also aiming to train more firefighters. Natural disaster and war/terrorist attack victims are becoming very important in numbers and require very specialized attention which is not always available in the public health departments, creating an increased need for specialized health jobs such as plastic surgery and psychology. Government jobs in 2012 will need to be increased in National Health and National Security by at least 40%.

With air travel becoming more common, Governments jobs in India in 2012 will also have to increase as airport capacities will be increased , which will call for a higher number of trained land and air staff.  The same applies to public ground transport.

As Governments internationally are becoming aware of the disaster awaiting humanity with pollution levels reaching alarming levels, there is great stress on going “green” to reduce pollution. This is leading to new areas of development and creating job opportunities which were unheard of in the past. The need to decongestion traffic is also leading to an alarming increase in public transport requirements.

Fortunately, in the next few years, there will be an exceptional amount of civil servants from the “Baby Boom” era retiring, who will need to be replaced, therefore creating an unusual increase in Government jobs in India in 2012.

On the other hand, there will be an increased demand for Government jobs in 2012 with Governments calling back overseas troops. These veterans are often still young and fit and need employment. Governments will need to be very creative in finding positions for them as they have often sacrificed careers in the line of duty to their country. The Defense force will be gradually reduced as these troops return to civil life, many of whom will choose to remain in the public sectors, for security reasons.
