Government not interested in animal health

Dhalpur, 15 December 2011-while the large number of the people of Dhalpur have been living from hand to mouth by rearing cattle, farming the Dhalpur Veterenary Hospital situated at Bagisabori Goan in Lakhimpur district has severely turned into a brocken structure standing with only one or two weak walls.

According to the people of the locality the authority has not paid any importance to the hospital and they are facing lots of hardships for treatment of their animals. While the majority of the people of Assam depends upon agriculture the total negligence of the government towards animal health implies irresponsibility to the majority of Assamese people posing threat to the country as a whole.
