Lakhimpur, 23Dec - During the time of continuous protest against the N.H.P.C. big dam by the Kishakmukti Sangram Samiti with many other organisations in Lakhimpur district the random power cut more than 12 times in a day from the last week bears significance.

According to sources various business farms are facing bardens in their commercial activity due to the irregular power supply. According to them in a world when almost everything is done with electricity such powercuts pose threat to the development as a whole. Conscious citizens of Lakhimpur district demanded immediate action of the authoritiy taking care of the need of the hour.
