MANSA,  DEC 11  (By Balbir Singh): The semi-final line-up both in the men as well as women categories have been completed in the 3rd Pearls World Cup Kabaddi-2012 organised by the Punjab Government at different venues of the state.  The last league phase matches were conducted at the Memorial Government College Stadium here today.

Now the attention will shift to Bathinda where the semi-final matches will be conducted at the Multipurpose Stadium tomorrow.

England qualify for women's semi-final in World Cup Kabaddi

GURDASPUR, DEC 10 (By Balbir Singh): Formidable England thrashed debutant Turkmenistan by 63-11 in their Pool B women’s match in the 3rd Pearls World Cup Kabaddi-2012 being conducted by the Punjab Government at the Government College Stadium here tonight.  With their second victory in the four-nation Round-Robin league prorgramme, England barged inro the semi-finals. The winners were leading by 33-1 at half time.
